Our Friends at Weed Man are Mobilizing Their 2nd Grassroots Giving Food Drive!

Our Parent Company is Fighting Food Insecurity in Their Local Communities!
As members of the same team, both Mosquito Hero and Weed Man are community-first companies. 
That’s why we are so proud to announce that Weed Man is mobilizing their trucks and their franchisees to collect food for local Food Banks as part of our 2nd Annual Grassroots Giving food drive.
From September 8 to November 21 (exact dates will vary based on location), Weed Man customers are encouraged to leave food donations on their front porch on the day of their scheduled lawn service for their technician to pick up.
Last year’s inaugural Grassroots Giving campaign was a huge success as Weed Man collected over 76,000 pounds of food (the equivalent of 64,000 meals) for their community’s most vulnerable people. And this year, they want to do even more!
They’re seeking shelf-stable, non-perishable items, such as:
Canned goods
Pasta
Rice
Peanut butter
And much more
Weed Man Customers are encouraged to contact their local Weed Man or visit the Grassroots Giving website for more information about the specific needs of their community, including the most-needed items and any restrictions on what can be donated.
This cause has never been more important, as 1 in 8 households in the United States are currently facing food insecurity, while 1 in 5 Canadian families don’t have sufficient access to quality food and other basic needs.
